Tour Plan
Day 01: Arrival & Transfer to Kandy
On arrival you will be met and assisted by our Airport Representative, introduced to the dedicated chauffeur and will be transferred to the beautiful city of Kandy. En route you will visit the spice garden in Mawanella.
Once you arrive to Kandy, you will be checked in at the hotel. The tour around the city of Kandy will commence once you are relaxed and refreshed.
Kandy, the bustling hill country capital is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site due to its historical importance. It is famous for the Temple of the Tooth, which home the most sacred religious relic – the tooth of the Buddha. The beautiful Kandy Lake (built in 1807) and the historical Peradeniya Botanical Garden are two of the key elements that are contributing to the royal elegance of Kandy City.
In the evening you will visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic, continue to enjoy a Kandyan Cultural show hosted at the Kandyan Arts & Cultural Centre. The show features the graceful and rhythmic dancers and drummers culminating in an impressive fire walking display.

Day 02: Kithulgala
After breakfast Leave for Kithulgala, a small town perched on the hills that slope down to the flowing waters of the Kelani River. Enjoy an exciting day of white water rafting, and on completion head back to your hotel in Kandy.

Day 03: Dambulla/Sigiriya/Habarana
The tour begins by leaving for Dambulla to explore the famous Golden Rock cave temple which has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Recognised as a sacred pilgrimage site for 22 centuries, this cave monastery, a vast isolated rock mass with its five caverns is the largest best preserved cave-temple complex in Sri Lanka.
The Buddhist mural paintings (covering an area of 2,100 sq. metres) are of particular importance as are the 157 statues including a 47 foot long statue of the recumbent Buddha.
Afterward leave for Sigiriya. Climb the rock fortress of Sigiriya – a 5th Century “Fortress in the Sky”. Built by King Kassapa the fortress was a Royal Citadel for more than 18 years. The lion rock (A UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE) is a citadel of unusual beauty, rising 200 metres from the scrub jungle. The base of the rock is ringed by a moat and rampart and extensive gardens including the renowned water gardens. The majestic Lion’s Paw picturesquely guards the stairway of the palace on the summit. See the famous frescoes of the “Heavenly maidens” of Sigiriya in a sheltered pocket of the rock and the 10 foot high Mirror Wall.
After the climb, head for Habarana, a silent peaceful village with fine accommodation options which are located facing green topographies of the village. Check in at your hotel on arrival, and spend the rest of the evening at leisure.

Day 04: Trincomalee
After breakfast leave for Trincomalee. Located on the East Coast of the Island, the city of Trincomalee is built on a peninsula, which divides the inner and outer harbour. With clear and inviting aquamarine waters and beautiful white beaches, it is an ideal location for Swimming, Wind Surfing, Scuba Diving, Fishing and Whale watching.

Day 05: Trincomalee
The day is dedicated to absorb the wonder of the city of Trincomalee. Located on the pristine white eastern coastal line of Sri Lanka, this is a time dedicated just for you to sit back and relax, tanning on the sunny side of the isle.

Day 06 / Day 07 / Day 08: Arugam Bay
After enjoying a rich breakfast, we will be leaving for the famed beach – Arugam Bay, which is located on the East Coast of the country. The wide sweeping sandy beach is an attraction for swimming all year-round, and an addictive beach for water sports fanatics and wildlife enthusiasts. It is listed as one of the top ten surf joints in the world. The surfing season in Arugam Bay starts in April and ends in October. During the season the wind is predominantly offshore.

Day 09: Yala
After breakfast, descend from the sunny beach of Arugam Bay to the jungles of Yala.
On arrival in Yala, check in at the hotel. In the afternoon commence a jeep safari in the Yala National Park by private jeep accompanied by a tracker. Yala National park is one of Sri Lanka’s premier eco tourist Destinations and is renowned for its variety of wildlife notably for elephants and Sri Lankan Leopards. It is also home to the Spotted Deer, Sambar, Wild Buffalo, Sloth Bear, Jackal, Mongoose and Crocodiles. The Peacock is easily the most famous of the birds in this park. Yala has a high concentration of Leopards although seeing these nocturnal carnivores still requires some luck.

Day 10: Colombo
After breakfast leave for Colombo. Drive through the commercial city centre known as the “Fort”, which is built by the Portuguese in the 16th century where grand colonial era buildings stand alongside modern office structures. See the vibrant markets and bazaars of Pettah, and the National Museum with its fine collection of lovely antiques and art of Sri Lanka. You could visit a Buddhist temple and a Hindu Kovil to experience the diversity of religion, ethnicity and customs of the people. Alternatively you may indulge in some shopping.

Day 11: Colombo to Airport
Now that you are at the end of your journey with us, after breakfast your chauffeur will comfortably take you to the international airport in time for your departure flight.
