“We had a fabulous time travelling through Sri Lanka with our private driver, Saman. He was very knowledgeable about his country and its history. He was so accommodating to our kids frequent request to stop for toilet breaks and snacks. He organised our Safari in Eco pack and snorkeling in Pasikudah and assisted. He made some great suggestions but was never pushy. Highly recommend!”
“From the moment Ravi efficiently collected us from our hotel in Colombo we set off on our customized tour through central and southern Sri Lanka. We’d arranged our hotels but the organization scheduled the lovely driver we had, Ravi, who safely took us from place to place that we’d booked in and he shared insights along the way. He was always on time and reliable and ensured water was at the ready, car always clean and we listened to our music and he drove us to nice spots to see along the various drives. And tips for best experiences e.g. when we should see Nine Arch Bridge in Ella to time in with seeing a train and we manages to see an elephant on the road on way to Yala. Well timed Ravi! Ended up extending the drive and the process was seamless and flexible. Happy travelers here. Thanks Ravi and team.”

“Thank you for the professional service from Drivers in Sri Lanka. Everything was very clear from the itinerary planning and quoting to the driver assignment. Our driver, Hiran, was incredibly thoughtful as well. Beyond being attentive and reliable while driving us through our itinerary, he introduced us to the sights and culture, and even gifted us my favorite fruit. Getting along with him felt just like being with a friend, which made our whole trip feel very safe and reassuring. It is inevitable that company and drivers will introduce tourists to souvenir shops, but as long as there is good communication, it’s not an issue at all. “Being a private tour, we were able to modify this 14 day tour to 13 days to suit our schedule. The communication with the tour company, Drivers of Sri Lanka prior to the trip was responsive and clear. They confirmed our amended schedule and activities from pick up to drop off. Our driver Nilanka was professional, friendly and extremely accommodating. He drove safely through out the tour. Nilanka provided background information prior to each sightseeing activity and provided important information so that we were well prepared. Eg, appropriate clothing for temple visits, hats and shoes off at some locations. For more physical climbs to Sigiriya Rock Fortress or Ambuluwawa Tower climb what to look out for, careful on narrow steps. The tour route was well planned with very early starts ie. 5am for Sigiriya rock and Worlds End which we think was ideal as it got so hot and humid 1 or 2 hours later which would have been hotter and less enjoyable. Other less taxing sights later in the day. The accommodation was more home stay style. But a couple of the accommodation had amazing views eg in Kandy and Ella. An amazing trip. We highly recommend this tour.”

It was worth every penny because he was so attentive to our needs, he was knowledgeable of the area and he was so flexible with our schedules. We had a very rushed itinerary given that we were just in Sri Lanka for 5D4N but we covered everything from Sigiriya to Kandy and Ella to Yala to Mirissa and Galle Fort and we could not have done this without Dinesh. Dinesh was a very friendly and pleasant person to work with and he made us feel at ease throughout the trip.
